Governor Schwarzenegger today signed SB 1572 by Senator Wyland, which places the Veterans Bond Act of 2008 on the Nov. 4, 2008 statewide ballot. If approved by voters, the measure would help thousands of veterans of recent conflicts buy a home through the state’s CalVet Home Loan program.
