Gov. Schwarzenegger Issues Statement on Death of Tech. Sergeant Jackie Larsen
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger today released the following
statement regarding the death of Tech. Sgt. Jackie L. Larsen, of Tacoma, WA:
"I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Technical
Sergeant Jackie Larsen. She fought
proudly and her allegiance to our country and unrelenting commitment to
protecting liberty will never be forgotten. Maria and I join all Californians
in offering our prayers and deepest condolences to Jackie's family and
friends."
Larsen, 37, died of natural causes July 17 at Balad Air
Base, Iraq.
Larsen was assigned to the 9th Reconnaissance Wing, U.S. Air Force, Beale
Air Force Base, CA.
In honor of Tech. Sgt. Jackie L. Larsen, Capitol flags will
be flown at half-staff.
