Governor Schwarzenegger Issues Statement Regarding Algebra I
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger today issued the following statement
regarding Algebra I testing standard implementation:
"I'm glad to see the State Superintendent is embracing
the goal of teaching algebra to all California
8th-graders and moving forward to improve
educational achievement in California,"
said Governor Schwarzenegger. "I look forward to working with the
education community to determine the best way to implement and support California's nation-leading
Algebra I test standard."
