Gov. Schwarzenegger Issues Statement on Senate Republicans’ Proposals in Reaction to Economic Slowdown
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger today issued the following
statement on measures introduced by the Senate Republicans in reaction to our
slowing economy:
"We must think of creative ways to boost our revenues
during these tight fiscal times and, while I may not agree with everything, I
commend the Senate Republicans for taking the initiative and proposing ideas to
stimulate our slowing economy. It is critical that we move past our typical
rhetoric this year and take meaningful action for the people of our state.
Today's proposals are a good starting point."
