UPDATED: Governor Brown to Discuss California’s Nation-Leading Action on Climate Change at Events in Los Angeles Today

LOS ANGELES – After announcing executive action earlier this morning to establish the most ambitious greenhouse gas reduction target in North America – 40 percent below 1990 levels by 2030 – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. will deliver remarks at the “Navigating the American Carbon World” event and later join Senate President pro Tempore Kevin de Le√≥n at the 18th annual Milken Institute Global Conference for a discussion moderated by Michael Milken on California’s climate leadership.
