Governor Brown Issues Legislative Update


SACRAMENTO - Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today announced that he has signed the following bills.

- AB 2074 by Assemblymember Roger Hernández (D-West Covina) - Recovery of wages: liquidated damages.
- AB 2082 by Assemblymember Brian Dahle (R-Bieber) - Forest practices: resource conservation standards: stocking standards.
- AB 2182 by Assemblymember Beth Gaines (R-Rocklin) - Alcoholic beverage control: winegrowers: wine sales event permits.
- AB 2298 by Assemblymember Freddie Rodriguez (D-Pomona) - Local agency funds.
- AB 2414 by Assemblymember Philip Ting (D-San Francisco) - Parking facilities: electric vehicle charging.
- AB 2582 by Assemblymember Rob Bonta (D-Alameda) - Public Employees' Medical and Hospital Care Act: postemployment health benefits: the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District.
- AB 2732 by the Committee on Insurance - Workers' compensation.
- AB 2743 by the Committee on Labor and Employment - Employment: wages.

Governor Brown also announced that he has vetoed the following bill.

- SB 1046 by Senator Jim Beall (D-San Jose) - Insurance: mental illness: developmental disabilities: coverage: penalties. A veto message can be found here.
