Governor Brown Issues Legislative Update


SACRAMENTO Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today announced that he has signed the following bills.

AB 924 by Assemblymember Ken Cooley (D-Rancho Cordova) Personal income tax: voluntary contributions: State Children's Trust Fund.
AB 1191 by Assemblymember Adrin Nazarian (D-Sherman Oaks) Quimby Act: fees.
AB 1195 by Assemblymember Sebastian Ridley-Thomas (D-Los Angeles) California Debt Limit Allocation Committee: American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
SB 328 by Senator Ben Hueso (D-San Diego) Landlords: notice of pesticide use.
SB 352 by Senator Marty Block (D-San Diego) Elder abuse.
SB 408 by Senator Mike L. Morrell (R-Rancho Cucamonga) Midwife assistants.
SB 561 by Senator William W. Monning (D-Carmel) Contractors: home improvement salespersons.
SB 600 by Senator Richard Pan (D-Sacramento) Discrimination: citizenship: language: immigration status.
SB 730 by Senator Lois Wolk (D-Davis) Railroads: movement of freight: trains or light engines: crew size.
