TOMORROW: Governor Newsom to Join Emergency Officials and Announce New Action to Protect California’s Most Wildfire-Vulnerable Communities

MIDDLETOWN — Governor Gavin Newsom will travel to Lake County tomorrow, where he will join local officials and leaders from the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services, CAL FIRE, and California Volunteers to discuss the state’s ongoing commitment to emergency preparedness and new executive action to better protect California’s most wildfire-vulnerable communities.

Who: Governor Gavin Newsom, Governor’s Office of Emergency Services Deputy Director of Planning, Preparedness and Prevention Christina Curry, CAL FIRE Director Thom Porter, Chief Service Officer Karen Baker, California Volunteers, as well as other local and state officials.
