SACRAMENTO – Governor Gavin Newsom will give remarks at the annual California Peace Officers’ Memorial Ceremony tomorrow in Sacramento and later in the day, will attend the “Big 5 Reception” commemorating the Maddy Institute’s 20thanniversary.
California Peace Officers’ Memorial Ceremony
Following a private ceremony for honored families, Governor Newsom will participate in the Walk of Honor and speak at the Enrollment Ceremony.
When: Tomorrow, Monday, May 6, 2019 at 10:30 a.m.
Where: The Walk of Honor will begin on the West Steps of the State Capitol. The Enrollment Ceremony will commence upon conclusion of the procession, at 10th Street and Capitol Mall, Sacramento, CA 95814.
**NOTE: The Walk of Honor and Enrollment Ceremony are open to credentialed media.
Maddy Institute Reception
