SACRAMENTO — Governor Gavin Newsom will deliver the keynote address to California’s women and men in uniform during the General Session at the fourth annual All California Defense Leadership Summit tomorrow. The Summit is organized by the Governor’s Military Council, and brings together the commanding officers of each of California’s military bases and local leaders of community-based base support organizations across the state.
There are more than 30 major defense installations in California, incorporating all military services –more than double any other state. Each of these bases has unique, important military value, and each is making critical contributions to national security. California provides superior technology, critical facilities for joint training and operations, and the keys to effective and efficient force projection in the future.
When: Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 14, 2019. General Session is scheduled from 9:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Where: Sheraton Grand Hotel, 13th and J St., Sacramento, CA 95814 in the Gardenia/Camilla Ballroom.
