TOMORROW: Governor Gavin Newsom to Visit Local School and Sign School Bond Legislation

SACRAMENTO — Governor Gavin Newsom, joined by students, teachers, public health and public safety leaders, will sign AB 48 by Assemblymember Patrick O’Donnell (D-Long Beach) and Senator Steve Glazer (D-Orinda) at a public school in Sacramento on Monday. AB 48 will place the largest school construction bond in the state’s history on the March 2020 ballot. The bond will prioritize school construction projects for the schools and districts most in need, and would benefit preschools, K-12 public schools, and higher education students for generations to come.
