Today: Following Homelessness State of the State, Governor Newsom to Hold Media Availability After Meeting with League of California Cities as Part of Multi-Day Homelessness Tour

YOUNTVILLE – A day after delivering his State of the State address, underscoring the importance of working closely with local governments to solve the state’s homelessness crisis, Governor Gavin Newsom will hold a media availability following a meeting with the League of California Cities today in Yountville.

The event will serve as the first stop of his post-State of the State Homelessness Tour, where the Governor will travel the state meeting with service providers and homeless Californians and talk directly to Californians about his Administration’s homelessness response. In his State of the State address Wednesday, Governor Newsom called on all levels of government to step up to combat the crisis and laid out his Administration’s five-part approach.
