SACRAMENTO – Governor Gavin Newsom and state health officials will provide an update today on the state’s response to COVID-19.
Building off of weeks of intensive work with providers to prepare hospital systems for a COVID-19 surge, Governor Newsom held a telemeeting with hospital leaders this afternoon as health care systems work quickly to build out more hospital capacity. Some of the hospital officials present will join the media briefing.
