TODAY: Governor Newsom to Visit Vaccination Site in San Diego County

SAN DIEGO COUNTY – A day after receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, Governor Gavin Newsom will visit a vaccination site in San Diego County today, encouraging eligible Californians to get vaccinated.

Californians aged 50+ became eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine on April 1. Individuals 16+ will be eligible to be vaccinated starting on April 15.

**NOTE: Due to space restrictions and to adhere to physical distancing requirements, there will be a very limited number of spaces for credentialed media to attend the indoor event.

On-site protocols include a mandatory temperature check, mask wearing at all times and floor markings to ensure six feet of physical distancing.
