TOMORROW: In Alameda County, Governor Newsom to Sign COVID-19 Recovery Package, Highlight Historic Supports for Small Businesses

ALAMEDA COUNTY – In Alameda County tomorrow, Governor Gavin Newsom will sign legislation supporting the state’s nation-leading economic recovery and highlight his California Comeback Plan’s unprecedented investments to support small businesses hit hardest by the pandemic.

 

Governor Newsom has taken swift action to deliver relief to small businesses throughout the pandemic, including a $4 billion investment creating the largest small business relief grant program in the nation, $6.2 billion in tax relief for small businesses that received Paycheck Protection Program loans, and pandemic regulatory relief and license renewal fee waivers for heavily impacted businesses.
