TODAY: Governor Newsom, Higher Education Leaders and Chief Service Officer Fryday to Launch Historic Investment to Help Students with Debt-Free Path through Service

SACRAMENTO — Governor Gavin Newsom and Chief Service Officer Josh Fryday will today join UC, CSU, community and private college leaders virtually to announce the 45 colleges and universities selected for the first round of funding in the #CaliforniansForAllCollegeCorps.

 

Last year’s California Comeback Plan invests $146 million in the nation-leading effort to help students with a debt-free path to a world class education while investing in California communities.

Castro, California Community Colleges Chancellor Eloy Ortiz Oakley and Association of Independent California Colleges and Universities President Kristen Soares.
