TOMORROW: In Santa Clara County, Governor Newsom to Highlight California’s Nation-Leading Zero-Emission Vehicle Innovations and Investments

SANTA CLARA COUNTY – In Santa Clara County tomorrow, Governor Gavin Newsom will highlight California’s nation-leading policies and investments to catalyze innovation and accelerate the transition to zero-emission vehicles, a critical component of the state’s efforts to combat climate change.

 

The Governor’s California Blueprint proposes an additional $6.1 billion to hit fast forward on the state’s zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) goals – creating a $10 billion total package – with funding to support more affordable, clean cars, trucks and buses and to expand access to zero-emission vehicles and ZEV infrastructure in low-income communities.
