TOMORROW: Governor Newsom to Deliver Remarks at Chief Probation Officers of California Conference

SACRAMENTO — Governor Gavin Newsom will deliver remarks at the Chief Probation Officers of California Conference, “Evolution of California’s Justice System through SB 678: Creating safer communities through rehabilitation and evidence-based practices,” tomorrow in Sacramento.

The Governor will discuss criminal justice reform in California, as well as current proposals to reform and enhance probation services in order to reduce the cycle of recidivism.

When: Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 1:45 p.m. Media is advised to be on site no later than 1:15 p.m. (The Conference will run from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)
